Building a Sustainable Organisation

We believe that as a responsible tea producer, sustainability needs to be part of the everyday fabric of our company’s operations. We research methods on how we can do our part in minimising wastage and lowering our carbon footprint. As a company that owes so much of our business to the fertility of the land, being a sustainable tea producer is an essential to us. Among the steps we have taken include:

Using recyclable materials in our packaging

  • Our BOH Tea Leaves packet tea range, Instant Tea Mix Ice Tea range, and sachets for 17 products (fast moving products) are packed using Polypropylene (PP) material which is recyclable under classification recycling code No.5.
  • This material only uses one-type of PP material, making it easily recyclable by just putting it into the plastic recycle bins.

Reducing Plastic Usage

  • BOH has changed the box packaging for 17 products to a tear box structure. This new tear box removes the need of plastic wraps as the box is now completely sealed until it is purchased and opened.
